How to Download and Install TranslucentTB

Option 1: Microsoft Store

  1. Open the Microsoft Store.

  2. Search for TranslucentTB.

  3. Click Install.

  4. Once installed, launch the application.

     

    How to Use TranslucentTB

    Once TranslucentTB is running:

  5. Right-click the TranslucentTB icon in your system tray (it looks like a square).

  6. A menu will pop up with options like:

    • Regular: When no windows are maximized.

    • Maximized Window: When a window is maximized.

    • Start Menu Open

    • Cortana Open

    • Timeline Open

  7. Under each condition, you can select:

    • Normal (default Windows taskbar)

    • Clear (fully transparent)

    • Opaque

    • Blur (translucent with background blur)

    • Acrylic (Windows 11/10 Fluent Design effect)
